Cincinnati child photography
SO. First, we played with the pet lizard. Then, the kids just hugged each other in Ma and Pa's bed for a while.
Of course, everyone was just wearing pajamas, and Ma hadn't even really brushed the kids' hair. Why would she? Aren't our children precious when they first wake up? Aren't these the memories we should keep? I mean, who really wants to get our kids jacked up in formal wear and force them to smile? It's just no fun--for parents and kids.
For this shoot, Mom did what I love: she just said, "I'm going downstairs to drink coffee. Just do your thing." I didn't really see her until the end of the shoot when, of course, we both had to vaccuum up the feathers. It took about 15-20 minutes to get rid of them. It was worth it.
And yes, that's a Mr. Happy T-shirt you see the handsome brown-haired boy wearing. How perfect :). That's the kind of child photographer I am. I want it to be fun.
Shoot time was less than an hour. I used my Nikon D700 workhorse, one studio light, and my 50mm 1.4 lens. I was smiling when I left, too. Love that kind of shoot.
