Six Months and Still Sweet

Although I've shot numerous types of sessions in the past year (I can't believe Blythe Winslow Photography is only one year old!), I've never had the pleasure of capturing any six-month olds.  As it turns out, it may be my new favorite session, but, then again, I fall in love with every new session I shoot. (Except, I can probably say without a doubt that weddings wouldn't do it for me ;) ).

What was even better about this session was that I had shot this little pretty's newborn pictures, so it was special to see how much she's grown.  She was sweet and well-behaved for her first session, and her second session proved no execption.

The light was glowy (around 7pm in late August) and I chose a neutral green space to get some clean backgrounds. I found inspiration for this six-month old's session from a few amazing places; Little Bug Photography, The Popes, and Southern Charm Portraits.  Thanks so much to these skilled photogs for helping me!

I shot with my Nikon D700 and a 105mm 2.8 and well as a 50mm 1.4 (my go-to lens).  Workflow included both Lightroom and Photoshop (urgg...takes a while, but the color results are worth it so far...).
